TASKS

Exercise 01: Text Formatting

For the first task, Mr Hijjaz demonstrated how to build up a document for text formatting. We were also told to format the texts from the 3000-word write-ups from content generation.

Exercise 02: Mock-up Making

To complete this task, we must first view Mr Vinod's tutorial video on YouTube. Therefore, we were instructed to explore three different kinds of paper sizes that are larger than A5 but smaller than A4.

Three sizes that I have explored :

  1. 250mm x 190 mm
  2. 240mm x 170mm
  3. 230mm x 180 mm

I ended up choosing the book size of 230mm x 180 mm.

Exercise 04: Classic Grid Structure

In exercise 4, we were told to watch another video lesson from Mr. Vinod that demonstrated how to design a Van de Graff on paper and how to use this grid structure to set a manual grid. Below are my outcome for this exercise.
